Jim>Hi folks!

Since the last two days i have been trying to send messages to this list and they were
returned due to palcom server being marked as a spam server! I have gone through the
evidence at the spews.org.To make matters worse, it records that Mr. Raju of ilugd.org
(email of [EMAIL PROTECTED] as recorded in the evidence) maintains this server, or is
the contact person for this. This is rather depressing! :(
Two possibilities.
1. You have configured your mail server to relay for people
other then yor domain. or some other kind of relay. I understand
from your previous mail that you are running Postfix.
Relaying is a BAD BAD thing and if anyone uses your server to
send spam you will be blacklisted within a few hours.
Try reading the "block" mail that comes back it will tell you
which antispam server has blacklisted you.
fix: close the relay. contact the antispam server's admin.
2.The domain for your mail server is not configured properly,
Postfix givs this problem. I have scratched my head hairless for
more then 3 days to figure this one out. all my messeges kept
bouncing. So, probably your mail server is also bouncing
messages and the same antispam sever has blacklisted you.
fix: assign different domains for localhost and the Internet.
Hope it help.
PS: these are just guesses. please provide more info like
mail.log and stuff.
