Arjun, the idea is fantastic...many possibilities...but just a few things..where do we get the PCs from? the lan cable? and all that??to set up a room for one day is rather expensive!!! Second option, why not talk to spectranet guys..they have neat looking cafes ( i believe there is on in Ansal's Plaza). They have great pcs, and i am sure they'll love the publicity ! (well you can never be sure but worth a try). Then the place can be rented/sponsored for a few hours or the whole day. only problem is we might need to reconfigure the PCs to our needs...and do a lot of hanky panky which they may not like! (what about carrying our own hard disks ????) the first option would be too big for us...even if we have the expertise for hardware and software! another option...hire the pcs for a week/day...find out the costs...you will need them for atleast a week to set them all up...then we can configure each pc with whatever we want. time is also needed to put up the lan. so you need to rent a place for atleast 3 to 4 days...not impossible but if the folks dont land up...you've got a bombshell! but the idea...is great (if things work out and you need a hand on hardware and lan let me know...)
