Hi everyone, My current employer requires a competent Linux sysadmin to look after our webhosting servers. Our servers are in remote facilities and we require people who have a good grasp of webhosting and related issues. Knowledge of basic concepts required to run a server for virtual web hosting is essential. Specific areas that you must be familiar with are: apache, bind, DNS systems, MySQL administration and working safely on remote servers. Currently we have Linux servers running Ensim and CPanel, so any specific knowledge of these control panels would be an added bonus.
Knowledge of Windows servers w.r.t webhosting and general network maintainence would be a definite plus. Having knowledge of how to deploy java apps under tomcat would also be a plus.
