dell has an EULA that boots up at prompt, from the BIOS settings, which is 
Dell's own EULA, and not even that of MSWin. hoo! boy! this is another level 
of stuff, and you have to agree to use the pc, even though you have no access 
to any of the agreements to see what they say.

trouble is, my cousin just bought a dell laptop here in india, and he does 
not know if he remembers seeing that screen.

anyone in india faced this problem with dell laptops yet? please post your 
response to the mailing lists.
 the article mentions the users trying to bypass the EULA and trying to run 
linux.
