Network management: I'd add Nagios to the list, one of the best
network monitoring tools I've seen.
Please add anti-virus. It should probably be up there after the
Kernel/Base OS :) On Linux you can use ClamAV, presumably Winduhs has
anti-virus tools too ;)
Spam control: SpamAssassin on Linux
