Redhat has bundeled squirrelmail + postfix/sendmail , it works 
effortlessly, and much simpler to integrate ( cause of RPM etc).

If ur users want to hv addressbook in database, i would recommend going 
for Openwebmail, it is perl based, ( But much heavier than squirrelmail)
