when i type man [command] at the prompt, the text-formatting of man displays with normal and bold text, and a whole lot of junk characters. so much so, it becomes impossible to read any man page. have tried changing the system's font default setting, the default font and other settings of konsole, of the text editor, and everywhere else, but no luck. what can be done?
