- Intro to Linux and why to do it - talk by Raju Mathur. 15 mins.(Should be enuff!:-)
- Demo of Linux and the programs - openoffice, xmms, mozilla, evolution, imovix, wine.
20 mins.
Handout of 7STS to all.
- Seven Steps to Samadhi - talk by KinuxLingam (LL). (Only 20 mins. Strictly please:-)
- Demo of 7STS. 45 - 50 mins. Comprises of :-
- GnuIIwin. 10 mins. LL
- Knoppix. 10 mins.
- Cygwin. 10 mins. Tarun.
- Wine. 10 mins. Jasmeet
- Demo of simple install of Linux. RH9/Fedora(?). 40 mins.
- Demo of a game by Pankaj Kaushal. 30 mins.
Our new Linuxers then see some of the resources stuff laid out on a table and
purchase/collect CDs and Tshirts (if ready by then :-). They fill out feedback forms.
Tea,snakes,juice and interaction.
Somewhere in the middle Treasurer designate gouges all for dough.
