If by any chance you manage to introduce a proxy at your client >end, it should be a transparent one and that is impossible with a single >LAN card. thanks my i can install a proxy at his place. the proxy works fine... a few months back i had opted out of the connection for one month, as most of the month i was out of station. i tried the proxy it worked just fine. and the cable waalah has not been able to detect it as of now. what i want is that my computer routes half of the traffic through the proxy and half through the 24online server (by the way which does not require a proxy server). cheers Varun
