The problem goes like this, i have a movie and i want to capture one of the scenes (a still image). I tried using ImageMajik, but i guess since mplayer directly writes to the VDO buffer, the image is not visible, rather just a blank screen. Tried the same thing on a windows machine too using "Print Screen" button, but the same thing, Windows Media player shows up with a blank screen.
Any pointers on how to achieve what i want? The movie is in mpeg format.
