Dear Kamal,
Four issues,
Firstly, regarding Posting. I made this mistake too before Sudev Barar
kindly corrected me. Always use a freshly created mail for a new thread.
Otherwise, your new mail appears under an old thread, no matter what
title/subject you give.
Secondly, What you propose sounds suspiciously antithetical to the core
values of open source, freedom and empowerment. Why do you want people NOT
to download knowledge?
Thirdly, look up Acrobat. Its commercial version permits you to create
closed documents of a kind.
Fourthly, Knowledge Management is about thinking about how to use knowledge
to innovate, compete and succeed in the market/your workspace, how to
empower and how to use it create a Force Multiplier effect. It may not be
correct to refer to your idea for deployment of non-downable resources as KM
and that too through Linux.
Regards, Ashwin
