Hi,
I recently downloaded this game called Amrika's army which requires 1.3 GB of
disk space. On my debian unstable machine, the game refuses to run. It used
to give an error saying "unable to load glx". I can run quake 3 and unreal
tournament 2003 etc. perfectly with my GeForce FX5200 card with 128DDR. Never
had any errors whatsoever with any games. Googling led me to the same problem
on more machines and all were running debian unstable. Running strace on the
program showed that it was looking for libraries at all the wrong places. All
paths were wrong. The game runs perfectly on my red hat 9 installation
though.

What i want to know is whether anyone is running the game on a debian machine
(unstable/testing). Or maybe if someone could give me a few tips on trying to
solve the problem in a neat manner. Maybe how to go about tracing which
libraries are responsible for the problem. I can post some strace output if
required.
I am least interested in rebooting into RH9 which i only use for testing
purposes, and I dont own a copy of billu's OS. So i guess I don't have much
of a choice! PUHLEEZ HAAALP!
