I have a confusion regarding licencing of Qt
designer.
A copy of Qt designer is shipped with Redhat 9.0. The
About dialog this copy says it is under GPL, whereas
the website of Trolltech(company which made Qt) says
Qt is made available under comercial licence. Any one can make it clear whether Qt is under GPl or
not.
It is under both - a dual licence. You can use it even for commercial products as long as the end product is open source and under GPL. However, if your company doesnt want to give the source code to its customers or otherwise wants to place the end product under more restrictions than GPL, you have to buy the (expensive) licence.
