-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 A fax from SCO to the US Congress has been leaked. Available at:
http://www.osaia.org/letters/sco_hill.pdf Usual FUD that delineates SCO's (or MS', which seem to be more and more identical as time passes) position. The first part is an attack on the GPL (viral license, Unix sales dropping, etc). The second part gets into specifics of how the GPL is bad for the country, citing weakening of the IT industry, weakening of global competitiveness and ``threat to national security''. The last, of course, goes along the lines of, ``A mad scientist in North Korea can download Linux from the Internet and make his own supercomputer, yadda, yadda''. If you read Sun Tzu (I don't) then this may be worth a read. If you read about Chinese culture, then you'd be aware that one of the worst curses you can give to anyone is, ``May you live in interesting times.'' And Baby, are we living in interesting times! :) - -- Raju - -- Raj Mathur [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://kandalaya.org/ GPG: 78D4 FC67 367F 40E2 0DD5 0FEF C968 D0EF CC68 D17F It is the mind that moves -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Processed by Mailcrypt 3.5.6 and Gnu Privacy Guard <http://www.gnupg.org/> iD8DBQFANZaiyWjQ78xo0X8RAnSzAKCKDitQkefYUxxM90RpEC5ISVMZ9QCeI319 UiOMJaLB/a3ygkHfCBpOkKE= =k0Oe -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ ilugd mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://frodo.hserus.net/mailman/listinfo/ilugd
