i have installed squid on my linux box, all is well except my outlook express is not able to access POP3.
Try pinging from the machine on which outlook express is installed to your pop server. If it's not working, you'll have to enable IP Masquerading in the proxy server. To know more about it go to http://en.tldp.org/HOWTO/IP-Masquerade-HOWTO/. Squid has nothing to do with ur problem.
