Subject: [ilugd] sockets, pthreads and poll(2)

hi there,
1) could anyone tell me if there is any issue in using the pthreads
library with nonblocking I/O sockets and the poll(2) library function.
2) it seems to me that the sockets being waited on do not return POLLHUP
on closing of the socket by the peer as it should.
Send me the code may be I can help .
3) i may be doing something wrong. i can mail a skeleton of the
problematic code so if anyone can help me debug this problem please
reply asap.
with thanks in advance
samveen
