an article won't be enough. i wrote to EFF (eff.org) to ask them if they had an indian chapter or something. they said no, but said you or anyone in india could start one. i think this is the answer to battling the 'theft' and 'invasion' of our privacy. though raj mathur will cynically smile and mutter, 'what privacy?" and ghane will coldly point out my privacy is none of my business and is the privilege of the powers that be.... ;-) still, i love fighting a losing battle. tell me what we need to do. i'd love to go and kick some real hard ass of people who call me in the afternoon when i am about to take a nap wondering if i'd love to lose sleep paying instalments on a loan. that is, after i've politely said no about 30,000 times. or if i'd love to buy a car, and call again every day to check. or procure my mobile number and make me an offer i am not supposed to refuse. or mail me a credit card free. or pile junk into my mailbox. or....
