Hi ! I want to create a tarball of a very big directory (Say 2GB) but I don't want to add any "symlinked-to" file to it and not even symlinks.
Although I may want to add the presence of the symlink in the tarball but I never want to add the files which are symlinked. Whenever I try to make the tarball It adds the symlinked-to files to itself and makes itself unnecessarily big. I have tried many options but couldn't make it done.
