Subject: encrypt password = no in smb.conf
Importance: High

Hi All,
I am trying to configure Samba Server to use Kerberos Principal as backend
for security=share.after making hell lot of efforts i got to conclusion that
if i put encrypt password =no in smb.conf on Samba Server and some changes
in /etc/pam.d/samba. Then i can access shares from linux client boxes. But
not windows clients. Now i can't even put encrypt password = yes as it will
overrule pam settings. Any Idea, on how to get this working from windows
client... i mean any registry hacks etc etc????

Or if someone can suggest any way in LDAP that LDAP should pick the password
from kerberos database to server to samba, i mean from lmPassword
attribute????

Thanks
Dhruv
