For those who want to install the nvidia drivers for their X server, kernel-2.6.5-1.358 compiled for 8k stack is available here:
http://www.linuxant.com/driverloader/wlan/full/downloads-fc2-kernel-i686.php After installing this kernel, you can download the drivers from nvidia site and install them. - Sandip P.S. The latest kernel is 2.6.6 though.
