Oops! Now you all know that I am a true geek :-) Regret missing out on the URL of the form...it is... www.linuxforu.com/directory/
The form is also there in the May and June issues of LFY magazine. Regards Rahul PS: Inconvenience caused is regretted because of the goof-up! -----Original Message----- To: The Linux-Delhi mailing list Subject: Planned: A directory of Linux/OSS vendors Hi everyone, Thanks to Vivek's posting that pointed towards the 'Mailing List Guidelines' (http://kandalaya.org/guidelines.html) I could realise that a certain information that I wanted to share was in accordance with the spirit of the iLUGD's guidelines. LINUX For You is attempting to compile a directory of sorts of all firms who are working with Linux/OSS. Herein, we are inviting firms that are into hardware (even Linux PCs), software, training, consultancy, etc to provide their contact and products/services information. We have not digitised the process of submission yet (if someone can help us...we will be more than happy :-)) but have uploaded a PDF form that can be printed, filled in, and sent to us by snail-mail. I am sure many members of DLUG would be working for such firms. By providing information of such firms and enabling a single-point information repository, we believe that we can make it easier for decision makers to solicit Linux solutions. We stand committed to our goal of 'Shifting Linux from Labs to Offices.' Please note--firms that are deploying Linux but not providing any form of solutions are not to be listed here. Best Wishes! Rahul Chopra PS: One doubt though-->would a message like this go under the "commercial" tag? _______________________________________________ ilugd mailinglist -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://frodo.hserus.net/mailman/listinfo/ilugd Archives at: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.user-groups.linux.delhi http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/
