here's the solution to getting on with tata indicom internet with linux.. i guess the
parameters need to be mentioned rest will be done...
-->Modem: standard 33600 bps, prefer com 1 or com2(oops you now know i am still
running windows )
-->Phone number: #777
-->extra initialization string:AT+CRM=1
do the settings with your tata phone as mentioned on your cd...
and get connected..
but the speed is not really 115K...
i got lucky as at my place (east delhi) spectramind had its stall at one of the
markets..
and i got registered ...so i'll be quickly moving over to it soon..
still try it out as may be on linux.. you might get better speeds..
Now the problem..
this i am sending the second time.. i guess the moderator rejected it the first time..

so here's my problem..
i installed fc-I .. i had 512m swap...3.3g data spaces..
but after choosing my packages which totalled to 1200m.. the installer gave me the
error not enough space on hard disk.. so i have no idea how and why this error came...
please suggest me some other distribution or a solution to this problem..
