We block mail from known dialup pools and other dynamic IP blocks, due to the ever present risk of "direct to MX" spam originating from spammers running bulkmailer software equipped with smtp engine capablities, and "remailer" virii such as Swen and Sobig, which have their own smtp engines to remail copies of themselves. Please set your mailserver up so that it sends out mail through your ISP's mailserver, or through any other mailserver with a static IP address that you have access to. so how do i setup a smarthost on my linux box? i guess exim has an option, but if someone could just give me the magic steps that would be a great help. thanks. ajit. ------------------------------ End of this Digest ****************** -- Raj Mathur [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://kandalaya.org/ GPG: 78D4 FC67 367F 40E2 0DD5 0FEF C968 D0EF CC68 D17F It is the mind that moves _______________________________________________ ilugd mailinglist -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://frodo.hserus.net/mailman/listinfo/ilugd Archives at: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.user-groups.linux.delhi http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/
