Are you sure it is a Linux problem? AFAIK, the SCSI bios is invoked before 
Linux is loaded. It must be a hardware/bios setup problem.

If after Linux is loaded, the SCSI card is not recognized by the kernel, take 
a look at the end of http://www.lug-delhi.org/LinuxDistros/Fedora even though 
it applies to Fedora.
