Hi,
I dunno what a pctel modem is but ill assume its a
modem like others whcih resonds to the Hayes command
set. In any case just run the command
#wvdialconf /etc/wvdial.conf
You should see a lot of lines which should make sense
to anyone familiar with modems
after that edit wvdial.conf to make an entry for your
ISP and then just run wvdial at the prompt to get
connected to the Internet ( If thats what you started
out to do in the first place!)
If this pctel is one of those kinky winmodems then
read the winmodem how-to.
I hope its clear as mud.
