hi !

1) there are no firewalls between these two machines...
2) machine account ... well i will do it now....is it different from user
account ?.
3)WinXP are working in workgroup mode.
4) smbmount ...now i will try it..after i read the manual
5) Log for samba ...i will look for them...
6) i will search the achieves

well it will take some time for me... thanks  anyways... i will try all this
n come back if problem persists...
