Dear Kirty, I've Installed Oracle 9i on RedHat Linux 8.0, 9.0, Fedora Core 1 & 2, Red Hat Advanced Server 2.1, and on RHEL AS 3. As well as Oracle 10g on RedHat Advanced Server 2.1 & 3.0, Fedora Core 1 & 2. But on FC 1&2 Oracle 10g has some problem to create database. Even Oracle Forum says that they didn't try on FC 1 & 2. But never tried installing Oracle 9i on Mandrake.
If you want my help installing 9i on RedHat, I can try, but firstly I'ld like to inform you that I'm _not_ a database admin, I'm a net/sysadmin.
