Ministry of Company Affairs
http://dca.nic.in, the website of the Directorate of Company Affairs, is managed/developed by National Informatics Centre. This site has one of the most important public databases - the company directory, which enables you to search for any registered company in India. However, the company database search page(http://dcasearch.nic.in/find_name1.asp) stops you on your tracks if you are not using Internet Explorer. The http://dca.nic.in site itself proclaims in the site footer that the site is optimized for Internet Explorer. Some others on the Linux User Group lists has also claimed that they have spotted IE specific VBScript used in some pages.
