I can't able to create users having decimal point(s) in their name. i.e a.b #useradd a.b userdd: invalid user name 'a.b' os used: Redhat 9 Fedora Core 1,2 & 3 Redhat Enterprise ES 3.0 Note: i can create user with dots (i.e navneet.kc) on Redhat 6.2 system. Any work around for this problem (yes for me atleast?). Thanks in advance.
