Anyways, I just discovered IceWM n it's great.. Works fast and even though it lacks the bells and whistles (it's mostly only the taskbar and the menu) it's fully functional, themeable, and does not get in your way.. I just set up a LOT of keyboard shortcut entries in my ~/.icewm/keys file and now I don't even miss the fact that I can't customise (or there is no obvious way) the quicklauncher icons..
