hi sudev

i was compling the kernel into its own path i.e.
/usr/src/linux-2.4.20.8. i found errors in
installation. another error is when i close the linux
then come i.e. svscan directory is not found, and
another is env is not a directory. similarly when i
open the linux then after all services installed then
again these errors come. it takes some few seconds for
searching then open the login window. please! help me
about this problem without reinstalling linux.
