open your home directory in nautilus. create a new folder called .fonts
if you don't have 'show hidden files' enabled then enable it so that you
can move into .fonts directory. copy all the fonts in that directory. go
to System->Preferences->Fonts and see if the fonts are listed. if not then
open a terminal, go inside the .fonts directory and run 'fc-cache -f'.
that should work
