Hi With a danger of hijacking this thread I am diverting from the original topic to address Raju's concerns

But that a lot of us on the list may represent certain efforts that we have experience in and continue to need help in and that those people (like me) make an effort to bring this link of GNU/Linux and that relevant issue to the fore. Some examples I can think off are: 1. What kind of GNU/Linux materials are required that could help environmental organizations work better ? What are the specific issues the need to address through use of computers and what help do they require. Can a specific indian distro be the result ??? 2. The recent DIgit mag has an article on computers being used by the blind - about a cafe thats supported by Microsoft - so if there is some one on the list who does work with Associations that support the blind - they should be able to voice what the list can do ? what GNU/Linux can do. Maybe a Live Linux Distro thats is speech enabled and allows some one who cannot see to run it on a computer using just speech software or something ???? and so on. **** To yet again divert I think on the anonymous mailing list / chat rooms etc its much easier to say things that we may not be able to face upto in physical life. Atleast I see this danger for myself sometimes. My understanding being that Binary physics (0r whatever) is quite different from real (reel) physical chemistry and that we live with the hope that one day we will meet each other and not have our boxing gloves on . Wishing all the members a good tuesday regards ram >- -- > > _______________________________________________ ilugd mailinglist -- [email protected] http://frodo.hserus.net/mailman/listinfo/ilugd Archives at: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.user-groups.linux.delhi http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/
