I was also thinking of running a web server from home 24x7 for personal use but the datacaps limit imposed by BSNL is a damper. My real query is regarding this data transfer limits imposed by the dsl ISPs in India. 1. Is this a money making gimmick or do the Indian ISPs lack the infrastructure to give real broadband with unlimited usage ?
2. Is this practice also followed in other countries?
