I have used a Nikon Coolpix 5600, Nikon d70s and a Lumix DMZ 20 - all on 
Ubuntu Hoary - the USB pops us and shows the entir folder - in some 
cases I also get an import pictures option. All out of the Ubuntu box, 
nothing additional installed. - All these cameras are 5 + mega pixel
