Yes yesy you can say drinks are on me...if we can catch you...Bangalore pubs are too far to travel just for a beer. Damned costly beer too if I did do that!! OP was shirking and hence: 1. You are the community 2. If you benefit from Linux make sureother can too 3. Attending also builds mentorship - You get help and you help other 4. Choose a topic you would like o speak on and put it onlist when ever a call goes for next meeting. Make sure you prepare for thetalk along with slides and all. 5. Since there is always more than one way of doing things in Linux you learn from discussions. LASTLY. Of course if you can give a talk to a bunch of no good wild animals (LUGD?!) it helps your confidence that you can handle any assembly of tame folks. -- Sudev Barar Learning Linux _______________________________________________ ilugd mailinglist -- [email protected] http://frodo.hserus.net/mailman/listinfo/ilugd Archives at: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.user-groups.linux.delhi http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Event: Freedel 2005, 17th & 18th September, 2005 - http://freedel.in
