The process is editing of product pictures caputred via digital camera or scanned photographs from customers' product brochures. The background of photographs needs to be removed , some times color needs to be enhanced. For background removal, selection of product is required , products vary in shapes and nature subsequently the process of selection too. (Think of Autoparts and Bead Ornaments) We are interseted in Gimp becuase we want to reduce dependency of our process in Windows (and its updates) and Anti Viruses (and their updates).
