I had an LG 350R (I think) and used the serial cable (available from nehru place for 200 bucks) to connect the phone to the comp. It worked like a breeze... no stupid usb->serial conversion or the like! One thing though - check the data settings of your phone. It should be set to "USB Modem" if you want to use it like one, or should be set to one of the available baud rates if you want to use it as a serial modem. Also change the data settnigs to "Modem Only" or "Modem for Next" to be sure. Failing to do so, might result in the modem not being detected by the OS. One advice - dump Reliance - it's *dead* slow. You'll end up wasting your money. Go for a decent broadband (like Airtel).
