 external sites open, most likely you have not set up the DNS
 nameservers in /etc/resolv.conf. If you are in Delhi,  you should add
 the following two lines to /etc/resolv.conf
 nameserver 203.94.243.70
 nameserver 203.94.227.70
 and comment out any others that are already in there. For other areas,
 you might need to get the IP addresses for the local nameservers. Be
 aware also that your system might be set up to automatically
 overwrite /etc/resolv.conf each time that the network is set up
 (there are various ways to stop that).
