I keep forgetting to bring this up. During the course of a meeting with Jaya
Chittoor, the editor of the i4d magazine (http://i4donline.net), the
possibility of
holding the next meeting at their premises was brought up. Their office is
located in Sec.-39, NOIDA, not too far from the Golf Course. The meeting could
be held anytime on a working day, but we would have to be out of there
whenever the last staff member left, about 7pm or so. I think that this venue,
hopefully with participation from some of the i4d staff, would fit in well
with our
current efforts to work with NGOs and other institutions for migration to
FOSS. In
fact, we have been talking informally to i4d about that very possibility.
Comments? What are the possible alternative venues at the moment?
