Dear All, We need to build Linux based server for following purpose,
1) Centralize Authentication server 2) Database Server for Software Code (CVS) We need all security features those present in windows 2003 enterprise server like 1) user account lockout policy 2) quota policy 3) domain security policy 4) user limited security rights etc... can we use Linux based Server as main Domain Controller for our network ? (our 90% clients are windows based) Which OS is suggested for this type of server ? can we use LDAP for authentication ? Please give us suggestions and how can we achieve this.
