I have made several attempts at installing linux FC3, FC4, Ubuntu, Mandriva
but somehow or the other failed. Mostly there was problem with the SATA
drive. Installation waseasy on the same m/c on ide hdd.
Ultimately i installed knoppix 4.
Somehow it has managed to work.
However, sometimes at boottime it gives trouble with some IRQ problem.
