It obviously is very noble of you to "help" people even though you have
been in "the" field of ah! (pissing off people?) for fourteen years.
What is being asked of you is very simple to do. Look at my reply, I
took 3 minutes off to:

1. Find out where you had written your reply.
2. *Delete* all the content you had unnecessarily quoted.
3. Hand quoted your reply, since it was one big line.

Now, I did this so that when you *do* say something interesting, I will
be able to read it and perhaps comment on it and we could have a
conversation that could benefit both of us.

If the free in FSF is about the freedom to be a jerk, you are welcome to
be a jerk and I am free to ignore your messages and the moderator is
free to ban you from the list.

But, Free software is not written by being free to do whatever you like,
Its written by collaborating with other people. You can be a useful
contributor of this list by following the list guidelines or you can be
a jerk. The choice is yours.
