I was installing UBUNTU EDGY on my system . Unfortunately the graphical installer did not detect my hard disk. May be there is some problem. Therefore I copied the whole live cd temporary files to my ext3 partition. With some minor modifications the system booted. The only problem is that I don't know what the root or any other sudoer's password is? Well I wanted to know which script in Linux core maintains the user and password list. Once I get the script I will be able to add any user using live cd.
