Hi Sandip,

Point taken. I'll personally ensure that no message is repeated by the
LinuxAsia or LINUX For You team. However, if we have some new
development/announcement--I hope that'll not be an issue.

And thanks for the suggestion w.r.t. participation. Niraj will start
front-ending the LINUX For You team at the Delhi LUG, and hopefully earn
our way into the community :-)

Yours truly,
Rahul Chopra

Commercial tag or not, repeated mails about the same event is similar to
spamming. An identical mail was sent exactly one week back, besides the other
mails throughout the week about related events.

I can suggest a way how you can advertise in an way "acceptable" to people
like
me. Please participate in this forum in some constructive way(e.g.
discussions,
answering questions), keeping your one-liner advertisements in the signature.

Right now you are just spamming the list even though apparently not
breaking the
rules of the list.

People can we plug this hole by adding to the list guidelines that commercial
posts are allowed only once per event/opening/product release? Repeated
mails on
the same subject should be treated like any non-tagged commercial email.
