Thanks for the reply, however i have checked the logs and didnt find anything
fishy,
our squid.conf has
redirect_program /usr/bin/squidguard -c /etc/squid/squidguard.conf
and when we do: ps -aux | grep squid , we get
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
root 14239 0.0 0.0 7740 960 ? Ss 17:33 0:00 squid -D
squid 14241 0.0 0.5 9364 5304 ? S 17:33 0:00 (squid) -D
squid 14243 0.0 0.1 3064 1020 ? Ss 17:33 0:00 (squidguard) -c
/etc/squid/squidguard.conf
squid 14244 0.0 0.1 4128 1020 ? Ss 17:33 0:00 (squidguard) -c
/etc/squid/squidguard.conf
squid 14245 0.0 0.1 4472 1012 ? Ss 17:33 0:00 (squidguard) -c
/etc/squid/squidguard.conf
squid 14246 0.0 0.1 4472 1012 ? Ss 17:33 0:00 (squidguard) -c
/etc/squid/squidguard.conf
squid 14247 0.0 0.1 4380 1012 ? Ss 17:33 0:00 (squidguard) -c
/etc/squid/squidguard.conf
squid 14253 0.0 0.0 2172 288 ? Ss 17:33 0:00 (unlinkd)
root 14378 0.0 0.0 4120 648 pts/0 S+ 18:03 0:00 grep squid
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Is this information helpful enough ?? Though i am trying to find out how to
increase the level of
logging which i will mail later.
Thanks
Sudeep
