In my company we have a bench of 3 trainee seats for duration of six months for students / young enthusiasts. Two seats are for programming where we give them live projects to be completed using LAMP technologies. One seat is for sysadmin / networking of live network. We also arrange interactions with some senior programmers and admins. A moderate stipend is also given.
