If you find tracking all the logs to be overkill,

is pretty cool for just network auditing - I just installed it a few weeks ago
and found it optimum for our needs.

A natural place for that is on the gateway box, so you can see who is connecting
where, and how much, so you can blackm^H^H^H^H^H^Hmonitor them.
