wakey! wakey! i have already spent a fair amount of money browsing the net on my mobile using airtel's prepaid connection. they charge 15 paise per 10 kb. am confirming this as an end-user who's already spent from my balance, at that rate, and have also counter-checked with airtel. Yes obviously wlan provides much much better speeds. But WI-FI goes down as > you step out of delhi, in trains roads etc... So? > yeah. had heard that shatabadi express was considering giving wifi to passengers. wonder what happened to that. gprs over edge has lots of issues as i mentioned earlier, but it is better than nothing. niyam bhushan _______________________________________________ ilugd mailinglist -- [email protected] http://frodo.hserus.net/mailman/listinfo/ilugd Next Event: http://freed.in - February 22/23, 2008 Archives at: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.user-groups.linux.delhi http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/
