Would appreciate bottom or in line posting. The error is showing that the wireless driver for bcm43xx is not loading. This should not prevent you installing Ubuntu. After you have installation either add the following in a line by itself in the file /etc/modprobe/blacklist to prevent loading of this driver blacklist bcm43xx OR you ndiswrapper to use the windows driver for this card. In fact the laptop I am using also uses the same driver and is working on wireless now. Now to your original question...why you are able to install Ubuntu?...Try pressing f6 and adding "noapic" at the end (without quotes) and then boot... -- Regards, Sudev Barar Read http://blog.sudev.in for topics ranging from here to there. _______________________________________________ ilugd mailinglist -- [email protected] http://frodo.hserus.net/mailman/listinfo/ilugd Next Event: http://freed.in - February 22/23, 2008 Archives at: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.user-groups.linux.delhi http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/
